An actress from the Showtime drama “Homeland” has landed a new gig on a USA drama series. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Zuleikha Robinson will play a major recurring role on the spy series “Covert Affairs.”

“She is slated to appear in multiple episodes of the globe-trotting one-hour series. Her first appearance will be in the ninth episode,” THR reports. “Robinson, who played Brody and Abu Nazir’s go-between Roya Hammad on ‘Homeland,’ will portray Bianca, a D.C. power player who is one of the capitol’s most formidable defense attorneys. With the help of Bianca’s legal acumen, Arthur (Peter Gallagher) plans to combat allegations that could damage the Campbells’ legacy.”

Robinson had recurring roles on “Lost” and “Rome.”

The piece notes that the USA series has also added Hill Harper from “CSI: NY” as a regular for the fourth season. The season premiere is set for July 16.
