Sales of "The Sopranos" on DVD and digital download have spiked on Amazon and iTunes since the death earlier this week of star James Gandolfini, reports EW.com’s Inside TV.

The 30-disc set that includes all seasons of the HBO drama series and sells for $124.99 is near the top of Amazon’s Movies & TV Best Sellers list, with only an episode of AMC’s "Mad Men" beating it.

The drama’s complete first season is in third place on the iTunes Top TV Seasons chart, trailing only "Game of Thrones" season 2 and "Futurama’s” 10th and final season.

As previously reported, Gandolfini, 51, died this week while he was on vacation in Rome.
