CBS continues to see audience growth for one of the few new scripted series that has succeeded this summer. TVbytheNumbers.com reports that Monday’s installment of "Under the Dome" was the top show on broadcast prime time Monday night, based on Nielsen overnights.

"Dome" rose 4% from a week ago in the key 18-49 rating, delivering a 2.8 average rating. The rest of the CBS lineup consisted of repeat programming, but CBS still finished in a three-way tie for first place among the broadcast networks for prime time overall, equaling Univision and ABC with a 1.7 average.

At the other end of the ratings spectrum, CW’s "Breaking Pointe" returned for its second season and managed only a 0.2 average rating in 18-49 — losing 50% from the number for its premiere a year ago.

ABC was paced by a 1.9 average in the 18-49 demo for "The Bachelorette," which was up 6% from last week. The network’s 10 p.m. drama "Mistresses" also showed signs of life, rising 20% from last week to a 1.2 average.

NBC’s lineup of all-original programming was up, but was only good enough for fourth place among the broadcast networks, with the Peacock averaging a 1.3 for prime time in viewers 18-49. "American Ninja Warrior" equaled last week’s 1.6, "Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls" climbed 8% to a 1.4, and the "Dateline" special "The Royal Baby" delivered a 1.0, improving 20% on the 0.8 turned in by "Siberia" in the 10 p.m. slot a week ago.

Fox went with all repeats and came in a distant fifth among the broadcast nets.

For prime time overall, Univision, ABC and CBS led the way in adults 18-49 with 1.7 averages, followed by NBC (1.3 average), Fox (0.7) and CW (0.2). CBS came out on top in total viewers with 6.8 million, followed by ABC (5.7 million), Univision (4.2 million), NBC (4.0 million), Fox (1.9 million) and CW (632,000).
