In an incident that sounds like a storyline from the show, one of the stars of HBO’s "Curb Your Enthusiasm" has been hit with a lawsuit over what has been described as a case of road rage over a parking space.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Hollywood, Esq. reports that actor Jeff Garlin, who’s also an executive producer on "Curb," was sued over an incident in a parking lot in which he’s accused of smashing a woman’s car window with his fist and screaming "crazily."

The incident got Garlin arrested last month, as we reported previously, although the Los Angeles city attorney later dropped the charges, the piece notes.

But a civil lawsuit was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, with the plaintiff alleging the incident happened when she was in the parking lot of a Studio City CVS pharmacy. The woman says she "made a face" at Garlin after he refused to move his car so she could park.

Garlin allegedly "got out of his car, followed her from behind and slammed his fist against the driver’s side window so hard that it broke the glass." He also allegedly "stuck his face in front of her in a threatening way, gave her the ‘finger’ and screamed crazily at her."

The plaintiff said she didn’t recognize the comedian. Her companion took a photo of Garlin’s license plate and called the police, who then arrested the actor.

The woman is seeking unspecified damages "in an amount subject to proof at trial."

Garlin’s representative didn’t have a comment on the lawsuit, the story adds.

  1. Maybe Mr Garlin should move from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” to “Anger Management”. Just a suggestion
