The CW’s "Supernatural" is bringing back a character who is a fan favorite. Deadline.com reports that the drama series announced the return of actress Felicia Day in her role as Charlie Bradbury.

The show, which is returning for a ninth season, will also feature an episode directed by Misha Collins, who plays the angel Castiel on the show.

Day, who is known for her roles on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog," plays a hacker on "Supernatural." Her character’s reprise was announced Sunday by executive producer Robert Singer at the show’s Comic-Con panel.
