Fox rolled to an easy win in the Tuesday night broadcast ratings, based on Nielsen overnights for the key 18-49 demo. TVbytheNumbers.com reports that Fox, which aired the MLB All-Star Game, led the way in prime time with a 2.9 average rating in the demo and 10.3 million total viewers.

The game equaled the fast-national demo number for last year’s contest, although last year’s game was later adjusted upward. Last night gave Fox its highest-rated night of this summer in adults 18-49, with the disclaimer that adjustments may be greater than usual due to the nature of live sports programming.

NBC was second on the night, even as its two-hour "America’s Got Talent" ticked down from a week ago, off one-tenth in the 18-49 demo to a 2.5.

ABC saw its two-hour "Extreme Weight Loss" match last week’s 1.1 in viewers 18-49.

The CW had two premieres, with "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" tallying a 1.1 in 18-49 for each of its back-to-back episodes, while "Perfect Score" managed just a 0.4 for the debut and a 0.3 for the second installment.

CBS aired an all-repeat drama lineup.

For prime time overall, Fox’s 2.9 average rating in the 18-49 demo led the way, followed by NBC (2.0 average), Univision (1.5), CBS (1.0), ABC (1.0) and the CW (0.7). In total viewers, Fox led with 10.3 million to NBC’s 7.9 million, CBS’s 6.5 million, Univision’s 4.0 million, ABC’s 3.3 million and CW’s 1.9 million.
