An actor from the British series "Sherlock" has been cast in HBO’s "Game of Thrones." EW.com’s Inside TV reports that Mark Gatiss, who plays Mycroft Holmes on "Sherlock," is joining the HBO series.
Gatiss’ role is being kept quiet, the story notes. "Maybe showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss will say more at their Comic-Con panel on Friday?" the piece asks.
"Thrones" added a number of new roles in its second and third seasons, while the fourth season has already seen the casting of Pedro Pascal in the role of Prince Oberyn "The Red Viper" Martell.
