‘Two and a Half Men’ Gets Back at Star Who Called the Show ‘Filth’

"Two and a Half Men" star Angus T. Jones, who blasted the CBS sitcom during an episode last year that has been widely described as a meltdown, is getting left on the cutting room floor. The show’s producers are editing out the actor from the show’s opening credits, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker.

His co-stars, Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher, will still be featured in the opening sequence, potentially with an as-yet-unknown new co-star, the story says.

Jones, who is leaving for college, had already had his role stripped down to occasional appearances, after being a series regular from the beginning. The actor made headlines last year when he trashed his own show, calling it "filth," which may be another reason his role is being cut down, the story adds.

"If he’s indeed sliced out of the credits, Jones will be the second of the three original ‘Men’ to exit unceremoniously," the story notes. "Charlie Sheen was fired a couple of seasons back after publicly tangling with producers; Kutcher replaced him. Cryer is the sole remaining star who was there when the series premiered in 2003."

  1. I do believe this show is on its way out!

  2. If the new two a half men is so good why do they keep showing all the original clips.
I also heard that the ratings are down since Charlie Sheen and Angus T.Jones where taken out of it. besides, Charlie Sheen made the show anyway.
