* In “Independent Banners,” (TelevisionWeek, June 2), Telepictures has one returning hour-long series and one new half-hour series on the fall schedule. Also, KoMut Entertainment has two returning half-hour shows and Next Entertainment has one hour-long returning show.
* In “The Battle for Rates” (TelevisionWeek, June 2), Fox News Channel’s 1996 deal with cable operators for carriage was an arrangement in which Fox News paid cable operators a one-time fee of $10 per subscriber.
* In “Missing in Action” (TelevisionWeek, May 19), October Moon is not planning to produce new episodes of “John Woo’s Once a Thief” for next season, but will continue distribution of the series in syndication using the original first-season episodes.
* In “Ownership vs. Quality” (TelevisionWeek, May 19), David Kissinger is president of Universal Television Productions.
