Fox News, CNN Draw Strong Web Numbers

FoxNews.com said its Web site has pulled in strong numbers during the Democratic National Convention in Boston this week. Web traffic to FoxNews.com rose significantly during the first three days of the convention with a 13 percent increase in unique users on July 26 and July 27 over those days the previous week, and a 16 percent growth on July 28 to more than 1.7 million unique users, according to FoxNews.com. Page views also increased 13 percent on Wednesday to more than 10.8 million.

CNN.com’s Monday page views rose 2 percent, while page views on Tuesday and Wednesday of the convention increased 9 percent each day, according to CNN.com.
