Video-on-demand software services provider N2 Broadband said it has integrated its OpenStream platform with Pioneer Digital Technologies’ Passport interactive program guide for Motorola set-top boxes. N2’s OpenStream is designed as a flexible open system to make VOD deployment easier because it allows operators to mix and match VOD servers, applications, billing systems and other components, N2 said. N2 and Scientific-Atlanta have already introduced an OpenStream-enabled version of Passport for SA boxes.
