Nets Compliant With Ad-ID Initiative

The four major television networks — ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox — are compliant with the Ad-ID initiative, which puts a unique code on each advertising message, the Association of National Advertisers and the American Association of Advertising Agencies said today. The ANA and the Four As have backed Ad-ID as a way to track advertising enabling advertisers to see when spots ran, who saw them and, in the future, determine whether they contributed to the sales for their products.
