Star Jones as last-minute replacement to head E!’s red-carpet coverage did not significantly impact ratings, according to overnight figures released by the network.

“Countdown to the Red Carpet” garnered a 1.92 household rating. In 2003 the show likewise drew a 1.92 and in 2002 it pulled a 1.89. Performance in key demographics were not yet available.

“The View” co-host Star Jones lead a team of mostly E! reporters who replaced longtime red carpet queens Joan and Melissa Rivers, who left the network last July.
