Real-life couple Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna have been cast as an actor-actress husband and wife on UPN’s new drama “Veronica Mars.” The couple will appear in at least three episodes, scheduled to air during the November sweeps.

Mr. Hamlin and Ms. Rinna will play the parents of Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring), a high school rival of title character Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell). Mr. Hamlin’s character is an action film star and Ms. Rinna’s character is a former actress.

“Veronica Mars” had a special premiere last week, and premieres in its regular 9 p.m. time period Tuesday, Sept. 28.

The show is produced by Silver Pictures Television in association with and distributed by Warner Bros. Television.
