“Nip/Tuck” actress Joely Richardson will play a con artist in the upcoming Lifetime original movie “Lies My Mother Told Me,” the network announced Monday. “Lies” is based on the true story of a grifter who struggle to evade the law while raising her daughter. The movie is slated to debut in 2005 as part of the network’s telepic expansion from a dozen films a year to 19.
