Cartoon Network has acquired a new anime series to add to its late-night Adult Swim programming block, the network announced Monday. “The Super Milk-Chan Show” is described as a politically incorrect series that mixes live action and animation to tell the story of a foul-mouthed female superhero. The series is from ADV Films and will begin airing next month.

Adult Swim consistently wins its time period among ad-supported basic cable shows in adults 18 to 34. Other fare includes “Aqua Teen Hunger Force,” “Sealab 2021,” “Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law;” “Family Guy” and “Futurama.”
