Cartoon Network has acquired a CGI-animated comedy called “Pet Alien” that will debut in the second quarter of next year, the network announced Tuesday. Cartoon ordered 26 half-hour episodes of what’s described as a “screwball non-sequitur character-comedy with a heavy emphasis on physical gags.” The series follows a 12-year-old as viewed through the eyes of several alien characters living in his house.
The series is produced by Mike Young Productions and is distributed by its subsidiary, Taffy Entertainment.
