Docere Digital Studios and Palace Production Center said they have formed a new co-venture, Docere Palace Studios LLC, which will develop, finance and produce nonfiction and reality programming.

Docere Palace is already working on two projects: “Presidential Leadership,” a special to be hosted by Bob Woodward and produced in association with The Washington Post Co. for The History Channel, and “Wings of Madness,” a program for PBS’s “Nova” series and France 5.

In development are a PBS weekly series targeted to women, an exercise series with a major ballet company and a reality series based on the book “Last Breath.” Tim Smith, former president of Docere Digital, and Chris Campbell, head of Palace Production, will be co-managing partners of the venture.
