CBS is pulling its baseball drama “Clubhouse” off its schedule for November sweeps, a sign that does not bode well for the show’s long term survival.

The Spelling Television-produced “Clubhouse” premiered Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. but never built an audience. On Oct. 20 CBS announced it was moving the show to Saturdays at 8 p.m., and replacing it with the sixth installment of “The Amazing Race.” “Clubhouse’s” one and only Saturday night run Nov. 6 scored a 1.0/3 in adults 18 to 49, according to Nielsen Media Research’s preliminary national ratings. That was down 33 percent from reruns of “Survivor” that were running in the time period earlier in the season. On Nov. 13, CBS is airing a repeat of its “Dallas” reunion special from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Nov. 20 a repeat of the two-hour “Amazing Race” premiere. On Nov. 27 the network is running a repeat of “Cold Case” at 8 p.m.
