Comedy Central has renewed its raunchy animated series “Drawn Together” for a second 15-episode season after its first three episodes built on its premiere ratings. The show has averaged 2.3 million viewers and follows “South Park.”

“We’re astonished that Comedy Central wants more of these things,” creators Matt Silverstein and Dave Jeser said in a statement. “We didn’t even think they wanted the ones they have now.”

The series spoofs animation and reality programming by having a group of classic animated characters living together on a “Big Brother”-style reality show.
