Liberty Corp.’s Q3 Profit Doubles

Liberty Corp., the Greenville, S.C.-based owner of 15 network-affiliated TV stations, reported Tuesday that its third-quarter profit doubled to $12.2 million, or 66 cents a share, from $6.1 million, or 32 cents a share, a year ago.

Revenue rose 9 percent to $53.6 million. Broadcast operating profit rose 11 percent in the quarter to $21.4 million.
