Former Beatle Paul McCartney will perform in the Ameriquest Mortgage Super Bowl XXXIX halftime show on Fox Feb. 6.

This will mark Mr. McCartney’s second Super Bowl appearance. He provided a memorable pre-game performance at Super Bowl XXXVI in New Orleans in 2002, the first Super Bowl after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Emmy Award-winning Don Mischer Productions will produce the halftime show. The halftime show has been in the spotlight since Janet Jackson bared a breast during her performance earlier this year, leading to public outcry and hefty fines against CBS stations by the Federal Communications Commission.
