CBS Wins Week 12 Among Viewers, Adults 18 to 49

With help from “CSI” and the buildup to the finale of the latest “Survivor” finale, CBS was the top-rated network among the adults 18 to 49 demographic for the fifth consecutive week and the top network among viewers for the seventh week in a row.

“CSI” was the No. 1 show for the week ended Dec. 12 among total viewers with 29.82 million and No. 1 among adults 18 to 49 with a 10.7, according to Nielsen Media Research.

ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” came in second in both categories, bringing in 21.55 million viewers and a 9.2 in adults 18 to 49.

Among adults 18 to 49, NBC’s “ER” was third with an 8.5, followed by “Apprentice 2” and the Thursday edition of “Survivor: Vanuatu,” which tied for fourth place with a 7.6.

Among total viewers, “Survivor Vanuatu” was third with 20.04 million, followed by Sunday night’s “Survivor” finale (19.72 million) and CBS’s “Without a Trace” (19.49 million).

CBS was first for the week in viewers with 13.09 million, followed by ABC (10.28 million), NBC (9.62 million), Fox (7.03 million), UPN (3.29 million) and The WB (3.13 million).

CBS scored a 4.3 in adults 18 to 49, followed by ABC (3.7), NBC (3.5), Fox (3.0), UPN (1.4) and The WB (1.3).
