Discovery Deal Promotes PepsiCo’s Smart Spot

Discovery Communications on Monday announced a deal with PepsiCo that promotes Pepsi’s new Smart Spot symbol on six of Discovery’s U.S. Networks, plus Discovery.com. The deal marks the largest advertising commitment to date on Discovery’s FitTV. Terms were not disclosed.

Pepsi’s Smart Spot is designed to identify Pepsi products that contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Discovery Networks involved in the program are Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery Health, Travel Channel and FitTV.
