Revolution Studios said Wednesday it entered into a deal making Mort Marcus’ Debmar Studios and Ira Bernstein’s Mercury Entertainment the distribution agents for the broadcast and basic cable TV rights to Revolution movies. The deal encompasses films made through 2006 and includes “America’s Sweethearts,” “Blackhawk Down,” “xXx,” “Maid in Manhattan,” “Anger Management,” “Daddy Day Care,” “13 Going on 30,” “White Chicks,” “The Forgotten,” “Mona Lisa Smile” and “Christmas With The Kranks.” Some of those films have already been sold to Fox Broadcasting and FX for preliminary network and cable runs. The movies were released theatrically through Sony Pictures. Debmar and Mercury plan to bring the movie package to the upcoming NATPE convention in Las Vegas. They also distribute “South Park” and “Farscape” in syndication.
