Dubin Joins Mediaedge:cia as Managing Partner

Longtime TV buying executive Fred Dubin has been pegged to lead the branded entertainment efforts for New York-media agency Mediaedge:cia as its managing partner of entertainment marketing and promotions.

Mr. Dubin had been managing partner and director of broadcast for Mediaedge and in his stint with the agency has done a number of product integration deals for clients, including H&R Block, with ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” He also put together a major crossplatform sponsorship deal for GlaxoSmithKline with Viacom and CBS.

Mr. Dubin replaces Gibbs Haljun. Mr. Haljun will take over Mr. Dubin’s duties as managing partner and director of broadcast. Both will report to Rino Scanzoni, chief investment officer of Mediaedge: cia.
