Sony Sells ‘Girls Behaving Badly’

Sony Pictures Television has sold the off-cable hidden camera show “Girls Behaving Badly” in eight of the top 10 markets, it was announced Monday by the company’s John Weiser, president of distribution.

Top 10 markets where “Girls” has sold are New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta and Detroit. “Girls” has also sold in Seattle, Tampa, Fla., Minneapolis, Miami, Sacramento, Calif., Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Mo., Milwaukee, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, N.M., Dayton, Ohio, Knoxville, Tenn., Mobile, Ala., Fort Meyers, Fla., Green Bay, Wis., Champagne, Ill., and Madison, Wis. Station groups that will carry the show include Viacom, Weigel, Cox, Granite, Fisher, Hubbard, Hearst, Acme and Sinclair.

The show’s 70 episodes originated and currently air on Oxygen.
