Tribune Stations Renew ‘Twilight Zone’

New Line Television announced Tuesday that the second season of “The Twilight Zone” has been renewed by Tribune stations in New York (WPIX-TV), Dallas (KDAF-TV) and Houston (KHWB-TV). In addition, the Forest Whitaker-hosted anthology has been cleared in Minneapolis/St. Paul (KSTP-TV/KSTC-TV) and Portland, Maine (WPXT-TV/WPME-TV), and on the WB 100+ station group. The announcement was made by David Spiegelman, senior executive VP, New Line Television.

Previously announced clearances include WHDH-TV in Boston, Belo stations KTVK-TV/KASW-TV in Phoenix and KMSB-TV/KTTU-TV in Tucson, Ariz., both for double runs; WBNX-TV in Cleveland; ABC affiliate WKRN-TV in Nashville; KING-DT/KONG-TV in Seattle; KSHB-TV/KMCI-TV in Kansas City, Mo., for a double run; Tribune’s WGNO-TV/WNOL-TV in New Orleans; LIN TV’s KXAN-TV/KNVA-TV in Austin, Texas; KXRM/KXTU-TV in Colorado Springs, Colo.; WNEP-TV in Wilkes Barre/Scranton, Pa.; ABC affiliate WTEN-TV in Albany, N.Y.; and NBC affiliate WHEC-TV in Rochester, N.Y.
