Buena Vista Television is renewing its talk strip “The Tony Danza Show” for a second season. The announcement was made Tuesday by Janice Marinelli, president of Buena Vista Television.

The live daytime talker has station renewals in 115 markets, representing clearances in over 80 percent of the country for the 2005-06 season. So far, “Danza’s” most notable second-season upgrade is in Los Angeles, where the show will be moved from an overnight time period on KABC-TV, the ABC owned-and-operated station, to a daytime clearance on one of the Viacom Television Station Group’s Los Angeles stations-KCBS-TV or KCAL-TV.
