Telemundo, the Spanish-language network owned by NBC Universal, agreed Wednesday to acquire Telemundo affiliate KBLR-TV in Las Vegas, bringing to 15 the number of owned-and-operated stations under the Telemundo umbrella.

The network purchased the station from Summit Media. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, allows Telemundo to own a property in the 25th-largest Hispanic market in the United States. The Las Vegas designated market area has more than 105,000 Hispanic TV households.
