Court TV to Rebrand Programming

Court TV to Rebrand Programming: Court TV on Tuesday announced plans to rebrand both its prime-time and daytime programming.

Its prime-time programming will be called Seriously Entertaining, reflecting a range of legal- and investigation-based shows ranging from the serious, such as “The Innocence Projects,” to the fun, such as a new version of “Smoking Gun TV.” Daytime programming, including live court coverage, will be called Court TV News. The network plans to unveil new logos for the dayparts in July.

The network also announced some new shows that will be part of its Seriously Entertaining lineup, including “LA Forensics,” “Get Me Bruce Cutler,” “Las Vegas Law” and “Under Investigation,” produced with NBC News and hosted by John Seigenthaler.
