VH1 Tuesday said it began production of a fifth season of “The Surreal Life.” The new cast includes supermodel Janice Dickinson; controversial slugger Jose Canseco; Sandi Denton, who recorded as Pepa, of Salt-N-Pepa, Bronson Pinchot, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth of “The Apprentice,” model Caprice and motorcyclist Carey Hart. The new season is set to launch Sept. 4.
