Discovery to Expand Business in Hispanic Market

Discovery Communications said Wednesday it plans to expand its business in the Hispanic market. The company will launch two new Spanish-language networks, Discovery Kids en Español and Discovery Travel & Living (Viajar y Vivir).

The channels will launch June 17, which is Discovery Channel’s 20th anniversary in the United States. Discovery will also introduce Discovery On Demand en Español, which will feature programming about nature, travel, home and lifestyle as well as health and children’s programming.
