NBC Universal’s ‘Starting Over’ Picked Up for Third Season

NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution has renewed its syndicated reality strip “Starting Over” for the 2005-06 season. “Starting Over,” which has been cleared in more than 90 percent of the country, is getting 35 local-market upgrades for its third season. The announcement was made Tuesday by Barry Wallach, president, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

The strip is getting upgrades in a number of markets, including Chicago’s WGN-TV at 2 p.m. (CT), Philadelphia’s WCAU-TV at 11 a.m. (ET), Baltimore’s WJZ-TV at 9 a.m. and Cleveland’s WKYC-TV at 12 p.m. (ET). Other markets with upgrades include Houston, Indianapolis, Orlando, Fla., Memphis, Tenn., St. Louis and Milwaukee.

“Starting Over” is executive produced by Jonathan Murray (“The Simple Life,” “The Real World,” “Road Rules”) and Millee Taggart-Ratcliffe. It is distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
