‘Dancing,’ NBA Finals Top Week

ABC’s ballroom dancing reality summer series “Dancing With the Stars” took the top spot for the week ended June 19 in total viewers, while ABC’s Friday night telecast of Game 5 of the NBA Finals was the most-watched program of the week in the adults 18 to 49 demographic.

“Dancing” garnered 15.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research, followed by Game 5 (13.1 million) and a repeat of CBS’s “CSI” (12.4 million).

In adults 18 to 49, Game 5 scored a 5.5, followed by “Dancing” (4.8) and Tuesday’s NBA Finals Game 3 (4.5).

CBS won the week in viewers with 7.8 million, followed by ABC (6.9 million), NBC (6.1 million), Fox (4.9 million), UPN (2.6 million) and The WB (2.3 million).

In adults 18 to 49, ABC won the week with a 2.5, followed by Fox (2.2), CBS (2.1), NBC (2.0), UPN (1.1) and The WB (1.0).
