Logo is going for laughs. The gay- and lesbian-oriented network plans to launch a new original series featuring stand-up comedians this summer, the network said Thursday. Logo also acquired three series featuring Graham Norton, two of which have not been seen in the United States, and some stand-up programming from Comedy Central.

The Comedy Central original series, tentatively titled “Wisecrack,” features routines filmed exclusively for Logo at The Abbey in West Hollywood.

Logo acquired “The Graham Norton in New York” and “V Graham Norton,” which were originally produced for Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, as well as Comedy Central’s “The Graham Norton Effect.”
