A veteran stunt coordinator was seriously injured Tuesday during shooting of The WB drama “Smallville.”

Christopher Sayour, 35, was injured while filming on location in Vancouver, British Columbia, according to a statement issued Tuesday by The WB and Warner Bros. Television, which produces “Smallville.” He was taken to a local Vancouver hospital, where his condition was listed as serious.

Vancouver’s Fraser Health facility released a statement Tuesday on behalf of Mr. Sayour’s family, explaining that he had “suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries” in the accident.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Christopher and his family during this difficult time and we wish him a full recovery,” The WB/Warner Bros. Television statement said.
