Martha Stewart’s new daytime syndicated show will be rebroadcast on TLC under a deal between Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Discovery Communications announced Tuesday. Under the agreement, MSO will also develop a 13-part original home-improvement series that will air on one of Discovery’s 16 U.S. networks.

The syndicated show, “Martha,” will be shown on TLC in fringe the same day it appears in daytime on local stations. “Martha” launches Sept. 12.

The new home-improvement show being developed will focus on six women coming off welfare, recovering from bankruptcy or getting out of rehab. The series will begin production in the fall and is scheduled to air in 2006.

The agreement also gives Discovery access to selections from MSO’s existing program library.
