SoapNet said Monday it plans to air a third season of its original series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.”

Casting for the series’ 10 episodes is scheduled to begin this fall and production is set to start in January.

The show will be hosted by Cameron Mathison of ABC’s “All My Children” and will air beginning in June 2006.
