Weather Channel to Launch Branding Campaign

The Weather Channel plans to unveil an updated image Aug. 15 and will launch a new branding campaign using the slogan “Bringing Weather to Life,” the network said Wednesday.

The Weather Channel will also be adding new programming, including “Weekend View,” a Saturday morning program designed to help viewers plan and enjoy their weekends, which debuts Sept. 17.

The Weather Channel has also struck a partnership with L.L. Bean, which becomes the network’s official outfitter. Members of the Weather Channel Severe Weather Team will wear L.L. Bean outerwear while covering storms. The partnership will also feature co-branded promotional spots and advertisements airing on The Weather Channel, ads on weather.com and product integration.
