CBS, the top-rated network in the adults 18 to 49 demographic on Thursday, also had the No. 1 program for the night in the demo with the 9 p.m. (ET) forensics drama “CSI.”
“CSI” scored a 10.0 rating in the demo, according to Nielsen Media Research. That blew away its nearest competition, its 10 p.m. lead out “Without a Trace” (6.7) and its 8 p.m. lead-in “Survivor: Guatemala” (6.5).
For the second week in a row, “Trace” outperformed NBC’s veteran in the 10 p.m. time period, “ER,” which scored a 6.1 in the demo.
NBC’s comedy block “Joey” (2.9) and “Will & Grace” (3.6) were down slightly from the previous week, while the reality series “The Apprentice” saw a slight increase in the demo (4.6).
After two weeks of declines, UPN’s new 8 p.m. comedy “Everybody Hates Chris” improved 14 percent in adults 18 to 49, growing to a 2.5.
