Media buying agency Initiative has hired Scott Haugenes, ABC Family Channel senior VP of sales and marketing, to be senior VP and group director for national broadcast.

Mr. Haugenes will oversee national TV buying for clients including America Online, Home Depot, Merck, Victoria’s Secret and the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority.
