CBS Wins Week in Viewers, Adults 18-49

In a week that included the first four days of the November sweeps, CBS took the top spot in both total viewers and the adults 18 to 49 demographic.

For the week ended Nov. 6, CBS’s Thursday night “CSI” was the highest-rated series in total viewers with 28.8 million. ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” was second with 23.9 million, followed by “CSI” lead-out “Without a Trace” (20.4 million).

In adults 18 to 49, “Housewives” took the top spot with a 10.2, followed by “CSI” (9.9) and “Housewives” lead-out “Grey’s Anatomy” (8.2).

CBS won the week in the demo with a 4.1, followed by ABC (3.9), NBC and Fox (both 3.2), The WB (1.4) and UPN (1.3).

In total viewers CBS averaged 13.4 million, followed by ABC (10.6 million), NBC (9.5 million), Fox (7.2 million), The WB (3.3 million) and UPN (3.2 million).
