CBS’s Web site CBS.com will stream three rebroadcast episodes of the network’s new sci-fi drama “Threshold” starting Wednesday.

This marks the first time CBS.com has offered episodes of scripted series programming on the Internet via free video streaming. The three commercial-free “Threshold” episodes will be available on CBS.com to Internet users in the United States.

The first episode, which originally aired Sept. 23, will be available during a three-day window Nov. 2-4. The Nov. 4 broadcast will be available for streaming Nov. 9-11, while the Nov. 11 broadcast will be available Nov. 16-18.

“The goal here is to recruit new viewers to ‘Threshold,’ help existing viewers catch up if they’ve missed some episodes and drive more traffic to CBS.com,” said Nancy Tellem, president of the CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group in a release.

“Threshold,” which has not gotten a full season order from the network, is produced by the network’s sister studio Paramount Network Television. David Heyman, David Goyer and Brannon Braga are executive producing.
