Twentieth Gives ‘Cristina’s Court’ a Firm Go for 2006

Twentieth Television has given a firm go to its syndicated judge show strip “Cristina’s Court” for a fall 2006 launch. The show will be hosted by Cristina Perez, former host of Telemundo’s court show “La Corte de Familia.” “Cristina” has been sold to Twentieth’s sister company Fox Television Stations group as well as to multiple major-market Sinclair Broadcast Group stations, representing 55 percent of the U.S.

Stations clearing “Cristina’s Court” include WNYW-TV and WWOR-TV in New York, KTTV and KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, WFLD-TV and WPWR-TV in Chicago, WTXF-TV in Philadelphia, WFXT-TV in Boston, KDFW-TV and KDFI-TV in Dallas, WTTG and WDCA-TV in Washington, WAGA -TV in Atlanta, WJBK-TV Detroit, KRIV-TV and KTXH-TV in Houston, WTVT-TV in Tampa, WPGH-TV and WCWB-TV in Pittsburgh, WLFL-TV and WRDC-TV in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., WZTV-TV and WUXP-TV in Nashville, WDAF-TV in Kansas City, Mo., WSYX-TV and WTTE-TV in Columbus, Ohio, WITI-TV in Milwaukee, KABB-TV and KRRT-TV in San Antonio, WRGT-TV and WKEF-TV in Dayton, Ohio, WSYT-TV and WNYS-TV in Syracuse, N.Y.

The program has also been cleared on Raycom Media’s WXIX-TV in Cincinnati and Lockwood Broadcasting’s WUPV-TV in Richmond, Va.

Ms. Perez also co-hosts a program on Radio Univision. She made her television debut with “La Corte Del Pueblo” (“The People’s Court”) on Los Angeles’ KHWY-TV. Born in New York and raised in Mexico and the U.S., Ms. Perez owns her own law firm in Los Angeles with her husband Christopher Gonzalez, specializing in immigration and naturalization, corporate and media law. “Cristina’s Court” will be executive produced by Peter Brennan.
