Hearst-Argyle Television said Wednesday it has reached a new five-year affiliation agreement with ABC.

Terms of the pact were not disclosed in a filing made by the company to the Securities and Exchange Commission, though the company did say that the cash compensation from ABC would amount to less than 1.75 percent of the company’s net operating revenues. The agreement covers Hearst-Argyle’s 13 ABC affiliates.

The company in a December SEC filing provided details of a new affiliation agreement reached with CBS in November. Under the terms of the 10-year CBS agreement, Hearst-Argyle’s two CBS affiliates each will be paid on a sliding scale by CBS in the first two years, with the compensation figure dropping to zero by the third year.
