Lionsgate Hires Wall as Senior VP of Television

Lionsgate announced Monday that it hired Barbara Wall as senior VP of television.

Reporting to Kevin Biggs, president of television programming and production at Lionsgate, Ms. Wall will be responsible for program development for both broadcast and cable, including half-hour comedies, hour dramas, miniseries, movies, limited series and reality programming. She also will oversee Lionsgate’s current roster of series, including “House,” which airs on Fox; Showtime’s “Weeds”; Lifetime’s “Missing”; and USA’s “The Dead Zone.”

Ms. Wall most recently served as executive VP of production and development for Heel and Toe Films, where she developed the pilot for “House” and the pilot for the short-lived CBS drama “Century City.” Previously she served as VP of drama development at 20th Century Fox Television.
