Sony Pictures television has cleared its new syndicated talk strip “The Greg Behrendt Show” in 80 percent of the country and in 23 of the top 25 markets. The show’s launch was announced in December as part of a deal Sony struck with Tribune Broadcasting last May.

Besides running on all 26 of the Tribune-owned stations, “Behrendt” has been cleared on Post-Newsweek’s WDIV-TV in Detroit, Belo’s “KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Raycom’s WOIO-TV in Cleveland and Weigel’s WYTU-TV in Milwaukee.

The show will be hosted by comedian and former “Sex and the City” writer Greg Behrendt, co-author of the relationship advice books “He’s Just Not That Into You” and “It’s called a Break Up Because It’s Broke.”
