Reality series producer Bunim-Murray Productions and international producer and distributor Diverse/FBC Group announced Tuesday that the two companies have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to exploit both entities’ formats.

The agreement includes a co-production and distribution deal in which Bunim-Murray will co-produce its formats with Diverse in the United Kingdom and with FBC’s local production arms in Italy and India. Diverse will co-produce some of its formats in the United States with Bunim-Murray. Diverse recently set up offices in New York.

The initial phase of the deal entails co-development of Bunim-Murray’s “Starting Over” for the U.K. and Italy, with plans to localize “The Scholar” for Hindi-language broadcast in India.
