CBS will premiere its midseason comedy “The New Adventures of Old Christine” on Monday, March 13, at 9:30 p.m. (ET) and will move the current time-period holder “Courting Alex” and previous time-period holder “Out of Practice” to Wednesdays.

“This year we had three strong new comedies and we wanted to give each of them the best time period for their premieres,” said Kelly Kahl, senior executive VP of programming operations for CBS, in a release. “By successfully launching ‘Out of Practice’ and ‘Courting Alex’ on Monday, we now have a real chance to strengthen our Wednesday night comedy block.”

After being benched to make room for “Alex,” “Practice” will return Wednesdays at 8 p.m. starting March 22. “Practice” will replace “Still Standing,” which will be completing this season’s run of original episodes. “Alex,” which also starts Wednesdays on March 22, will air at 8:30 p.m., replacing “Yes, Dear.”

“Christine,” which stars former “Seinfeld” Emmy winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus, is produced by Warner Bros. Television. “Practice” and “Alex” are both produced by CBS Paramount Network Television.
